Thor is a BRO, so please don’t vilify him in fics :c

seizure7:

MCU Thor is a bro. Not a frat bro. He’s a rock steady and chill sort of bro. He’s the guy who’ll have your back even though he has NO CLUE what’s going on. Sure he’s not too good at addressing the big picture, and he’s not very good at dealing with Loki’s issues but he always has good intentions at heart.

Remember: there is a reason why Thor is worthy enough to lift Mjolnir. I’m going to list some meta stuff people tend to sort of miss/forget:

Thor tilted his head to a side as he starred at the boy making odd sounds. Had this boy never learned any matters? At his questions he glared slightly at him crossing his arms in front of him. “I did no such thing and if this is the way in which you behave perhaps you are the one that have caused her to stay away.

It had been far too long, and now that he had learned that she had been in Midgard for sometime Thor didn’t know how to feel about not being informed of this. He never enjoyed being kept in secrecy which often times caused his temper to get the best of him. Yet he tried to control himself and just focus on the current task of knocking on the door. It had been far too long since he saw Sif last, and a small part of him (which he would never voice) was incredibly excited about the opportunity of seeing her again.

Sif had looked up from the pile of clothing she had been folding. Surprisingly, she had settled into simple Midgardian tasks such as laundry. She hadn’t even known anyone knew where she was.

She stood, and opened the door. Her jaw dropped for a moment before she smiled. “Thor!” she exclaimed and wrapped him in a hug. “How have you been? How did you find me?” It was then that she realized how rude she was being. “I’m sorry, come in!” she said, stepping aside to allow him inside.

It was rather startling when he heard the door opened. A part of him had all ready come up with a reason as to why he was there in case this was not the location of his life long friend. He smiled and hugged her back, his body relaxing at being able to finally hug someone without fear of breaking them in half. “You always doubt my abilities.” He said at her questioning as he stepped into the house. he looked around secretly noting everything he saw. “I must ask why you are here and why you have kept from contacting me.” Thor tried to say it off handily as if he did not even care about it.

She saw the annoyed look on his face but continued- too determined to give in now. Thor obviously felt like he didn’t owe her anything but the least he could do was set aside their differences for Loki. If she was willing to do that, then he should be too, especially since it was him who had started this whole feud in the first place. “It doesn’t really matter if you want to or not…we have to for Loki’s sake. I don’t want him to feel bad about this,” she said, meaning her and Thor’s situation. “At the end of the day we both care about him so we should put him first.” She didn’t reply to what he said about Loki’s relationship with her being none of his concern. Caoilainn had a feeling he was lying about it; he certainly disliked her enough to be concerned. Honestly she was surprised he hadn’t mentioned anything to Loki about it, but she wasn’t going to say that and give him ideas.

Thor wanted to roll his eyes at her pathetic attempts at drama. It was moments like this in which he truly missed women like Sif. Women that did not have the need to speak about such nonsensical things were far more important things were on the line. She would also not ever bring such events up and never speak to him in the way this woman was. He didn’t believe that she would ever understand, just like he did not understand why it bothered her so much. “Do not concern yourself for I am certain that brother does not mind what I think about his conquests.” He said with such a tone that it was easy to just see how he was able to command storms and thunder.

WELL THE FROST GIANTS WERE AFTER ME AND….

OH

NOW I AM AFRAID IT IS SLIGHTLY AWKWARD THINKING BACK ON IT.

It was awkward at the time it happened, but now it is much worse, yes.

WHY WAS IT AWKWARD WHEN IT OCCURRED  IT WAS A NORMAL EVENT AT THAT AGE AND YOU DID THE SAME THING IN CERTAIN OCCASIONS.

It was not! We were nearly adults!

NO, NO, I DO NOT BELIEVE WE WERE.
